About The SONGS
12 rocking songs, 3 pop songs, 3 ballads and 2 alternatives. 20 guitar based songs that make up Berry Lefthands second album "The Spectrum Of It All".
While recording the songs released on the debut album “From Teen To Tin”, Berry Lefthand found more songs written in his teenage years he wanted to work with. The songs were adapted and tweaked here and there, but the main parts of the songs were left as originally written.
The songs were inspired by love, books, television and general speculations that come to your mind.
It’s still popping, it’s still rocking, with a little bit of madness added.
"The Spectrum Of It All" released worldwide on the 17th November 2017.
Where past and present meet. Remembering how the songs simply popped out of my head, every time I got a guitar in my hand. And I can remember this wonderful feeling of creating something.
When you just have figured it out, you have the need to tell it to her right away.
It is so simple in the end, all I want is your love.
Big questions need to be answered right away.
I'm looking out of my window, 'cause I only have eyes for you.
Inspired by a Swedish youth tv-series, that I saw long time ago called "The Boy with the Golden Pants". Man, he could get a lot of money out of the pockets of those golden pants.
When lying on the couch with the remote control and watching television, and constantly on the stage where you fall asleep and wake up. Then your memory will be filled with references from many different movies and programs.
It is better to talk together than to fight against each other.
Inspired by the novel "Nineteen Eighty-Four" by George Orwell. One can imagine how everything and everyone is watching you!
Here is the story about McGillion, the one they all called Mary.
Berry tells: "I didn't know that it was a real name until I made a google search recently.
No intention was made to mention any real person dead or alive. It was just a story that came to me long time ago."
You can make a commitment at one point in your life, but the only true factor that can tell if you have done it well is time.
This song was written for a youth rock festival, that had the theme to get rid of drugs.
Berry tells: The beginning of the song was recorded in a rehearsal room many years ago.
All the things we had, and all the things we planned.
All that we do, loving you.
It's simply unbelievable how much nonsense you can say.
Berry tells: The beginning of the song was recorded at the very first gig my friends and I ever played. The gig lasted about 3½ hours, and the first request from the audience was for "Nonsense".
It´s Saturday, and it´s time to party!!!
Remembering all the things we were doing...
...and now you're gone!
Where past and present meet. Remembering how the songs simply popped out of my head, every time I got a guitar in my hand. And I can remember this wonderful feeling of creating something.
I'll get you in the end.
Berry tells: "This is one of the very first songs I've written."
Yeah, yeah Berry, we know what you want!
