Fourteen pop and rock songs. Arranged with a wealth of guitars, backed by a classic line-up of bass, drums and percussion. And some loops added here and there. The melodies are inspired from classic pop and rock, and the lyrics are about dreams, love, lost friendship, and our common home.
Actually, the recording of the 7th album from the one-man-band Berry Lefthand, was started about 20 years ago. And finished in the crazy period of spring 2020. Most of the songs were written over a span of 10 years, and even one that goes back to the teenage years. Berry tells: “A lot of things have happened since the 2019 release of the last album “With the Near and the Dear Ones”. And I think it is about time to let these songs see the light of day. Most of the time we are preparing for tomorrow, but the truth is that we don’t know what will happen in the future. Hence the double meaning of the album title.”
This album is dedicated to my late mother.
